About the Conference

Welcome to the Healing the Land Conference

Hosted by Saulteau First Nations


Join Indigenous leaders, federal, provincial, and local government representatives, restoration practitioners, and industry representatives to dive into the conference themes of innovation, collaboration, preparing for the future, and healing the land together.

The conference offers an opportunity to explore successful partnerships, collaborative restoration and protection efforts, and emerging technologies that honor Indigenous knowledge systems shaping the future of restoration.

This in-person conference program includes insightful presentations and panel discussions, with optional interactive cultural courses and tours, providing participants a chance to build relationships and the cultural connections needed to maintain the health and productivity of ecosystems while meeting the needs of present and future generations.
