The 2024 Healing the Land Conference focused on three pillars – Reclaim, Restore, and Recover – within four conference themes: innovation and best practices, collaboration and partnerships, future challenges, and preparing for the future. Through insightful presentations and panel discussions, as well as interactive cultural courses and tours, the conference brought together Indigenous leaders, federal, provincial, and local governments, restoration practitioners, and industry representatives to showcase restoration successes, discuss new and innovative reclamation practices, and strengthen relationships to advance joint interests in the restoration economy.
Speaker opportunities for the 2026 Healing the Land Conference will be released in the fall —stay tuned for details on how to share your knowledge, stories, and expertise with a diverse and engaged audience.
